Usually a bookcase is considered to be a dumping ground for books, photos, papers, letters whose magnitude of importance may vary. Box : Let the attractive boxes occupy the unused space. These boxes can be used to store everything ranging for passport size photos to CDs. Be sure that the color of the box goes along with the that of the bookcase.
Decoration : The things which can add beauty to the bookcase include pieces of ceramics and other objects like bowls and vases. The size of the decorative objects should neither be too big to fit in the bookcase nor be too small to get lost.
Color : Try to get the contrast color on the back of the book shelf so that the contents of the bookshelf seem to pop out.
